„Museums of the Future - Experiences and preliminary conclusions“

Hartwig Fischer
On March 15, 2016, the Foundation for Art & Music Dresden invited the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics to a lecture by Prof. Dr. med. Hartwig Fischer.
At the end of his time in Dresden as Director-General of the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden, Hartwig Fischer spoke about "Museums of the Future - Experiences and Provisional Conclusions".
In front of a well-attended auditorium he spoke about his vision of a cross-genre, always self-reflecting world museum in Dresden. He reported on his work experience and put it in the context of national and international museum work. From spring 2016, he will take over the management of the British Museum in London.
Following the talk, Hartwig Fischer, Foundation Director Martina de Maizière and other members of the Foundation for Art & Music for Dresden came into conversation with the guests.
The foundation thanks DRESDEN-concept e. V. and at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics Dresden for the good cooperation.
